PAUL MARCUS FUOG - DESIGNER
Paul Marcus Fuog founded Coöp in 2004. Initially commencing his career in fine arts exploring both drawing and sculpting, he was introduced to the practise of graphic art. Motivated by the problem solving aspect of graphic design Paul crossed the divide from art to commerce in 1996. Since, he has been remained committed to approaching commercial projects with artistic energies.
Paul's current areas of interest include object based photography, recycled sculpture, timelapse and typography. In early 2009, Paul took a posting at Stefan Sagmeister's Experimental Outcamp in Ubud, Indonesia. During this time he commenced a number of personal projects that began to investigate these design spaces. Over the coming years, Paul intends to continue the process of learning through expanding his collaborations with other designers.
Paul’s work has been acclaimed both locally and abroad. His work has been exhibited at the Powerhouse Museum and has been published by numerous design periodicals including Grafik Magazine (UK), Colour Mania and Stereographics (Victionary, Hong Kong), iDN (Hong Kong) and Pasajes Disena (Spain). He provides industry advice to universities, sometimes speaks at design conferences and is currently an AGDA councillor.
DAN HONEY - PRODUCER
Balancing creativity and design management, Dan initiates the studio's design teams and works collaboratively with the client to guide and shape the visual strategy. Using imagination and visualisation she encourages interpretive solutions that are considered, intelligent and representative. With over 10 years experience in the creative fields, Dan confidently overseas all project planning, scheduling and budgeting and her consultation throughout the project cycle ensures the creative result is continually enhanced.
While at Coöp, Dan continues to explore broad areas of interest within the arts sectors. In 2005, she co-founded Rooftop Cinema and contributed to successfully starting up this ambitious organisation. In 2009, she supported 105 Australian designers while curating and producing the annual furniture exhibition held across the Melbourne Museum and the Meat Market as a part of the Melbourne Fringe program. Her passion for independent arts in Melbourne will see her continue to foster local creative talents through a variety of development roles in the future.
